The SPi Awards for Excellence is the definitive awards program for the Canadian structured products industry and recognizes those from across the profession that strive for greatness, deliver innovation and make the biggest impact. 

The awards have been calculated using our independent data. To facilitate our analysis, we asked that each participant briefly disclosed their achievements, innovations and performance over the past 12 months in the form of consistent core data. 

The winner of each Award for Excellence offered will be the participant who is outstanding in each category we review. Market share is vital, as is an ability to demonstrate growth, relative outperformance compared to other participants, and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and/or client needs, including innovations.  

Once submissions have been received, our team of researchers and independent jury will conduct a thorough analysis of each submission. The jury, which I will chair, will reference SPi’s trove of market knowledge and research to make the final decisions and announce the winner of each award category.
